On May 31st, St. Peter School hosted its very first Alumni Block Party, and what a celebration it was! The campus came alive with laughter, connection, and community as both current and alumni families gathered together for an afternoon of fun, food, and friendly competition.

The event was packed with exciting activities — from a scavenger hunt that sent kids exploring every corner of the gym, to the White Caps ice cream truck offering sweet treats on a sunny day. But the highlight of the day was undoubtedly the much-anticipated Alumni Basketball Game. In a thrilling match, the White Team secured a victory, but not without a valiant comeback from the Green Team, who rallied from a 20–7 deficit to close the gap with a nail-biting final score of 29–28.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to Megan Miller for her outstanding organization of the event, to the Uniform Shop for supplying custom shirts for our players, and to Harpoon Willy’s for keeping everyone well-fed with a delicious lunch. A huge thanks also goes to the many volunteers who made this event possible—we couldn’t have done it without you.

It was a wonderful day of reconnecting, celebrating our shared history, and creating new memories. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
